Parking Explained and best points of contact |
||
Hi All,
Here is some parking information for awareness, especially now schools have returned. For many years parking offences have been decriminalised and taken over and enforced by County Council Enforcement Officers however, this still appears to be an unknown fact by many. The below information is to help refer you to the best suited agency.

District and Borough Councils manage off-street enforcement (such as pay and display car parks). Moving traffic offences, such as contravention of an Access Only Order, remains a Police responsibility as the CEOs do not have the power to stop vehicles.
